This is a great opportunity for you to spend the day with your son/daughter visiting Olvera St, one of the first settlements in Los Angeles.  While down on Olvera St as a family, you can sit and enjoy the plaza, shopping, looking at authentic items not just from Mexico, having lunch at an authentic Mexican restaurant, going to the museum, etc.  There are several options as to how to get to Olvera St. including driving down, taking a bus, carpooling or riding the Metrolink.  I will be with my family in the Plaza at noon.
